We've bit the bullet and built our own community forums
Why we made the change?
We moved away from Discourse because of ongoing upgrade and stability issues. Running and maintaining it was increasingly painful, so we decided to invest in a custom solution instead.
Sorry Discourse lovers but this platform was not for us! We needed something we knew inside and out.
What this means for you
This is a fresh start. We weren't able to migrate content from the old forums. That means:
- No migration of old posts - Previous discussions, threads and replies stayed on the old platform and aren't available here.
- A new beginning - The community here starts from zero. No historical threads, but a clean slate to grow with.
- Old links won't work - Bookmarks or links to the previous forum will no longer resolve.
What you get
- One account - We use the same accounts you already have with us. No separate forum sign-up or extra passwords.
- More control - We can shape the community exactly to our needs and yours.
- More customisable - Features and behaviour can evolve with your feedback.
We're sorry we couldn't bring the old conversations over, and we're grateful for your patience as we start again.
